My resume claims I blog, um so opened my blog and oh I didn't post since 2014. Definitely something I can pick up while Im locked down. I wonder why I stopped blogging and after a deep retrospective, it hit me "Aha" back then facebook was not a place where you shit post your thoughts, so "You needed a blog."   Soooooo hows life been ever since? I got married, did a butt load of traveling, started reading philosophy, Oh Oh and started a travel music video page, will definitely spam about all that soon. Right now lets focus on the pandemic. I hope we survive this, I hope we rise strong. But once we do that how do we NOT lose our minds????? Heres some thoughts I collected  Be the good samaritan -  It has been more than a year, the pandemic has locked us down along with that it has locked a significant amount of the economy. Many have lost jobs, many are taking home less, many are having to spend more to eat the same amount of bread and many are having to just wait ...

Prelude The plan was a group of four in my car and follow this trail(as in map) to the falls. Start on a Sat morning 3'ish drive to Alamparai fort before the sunrise, then hold there till its 7'ish. Then to Senji for a  climb, up the hills then go to the Thiruvanamalai, at last Dharmapuri and crash for the night. Then the next day Hogenakal whole day and back home.First we picked 16-17th Weekend, but we found it was Karthikai Maha Deebam on 17th so we postponed it to 23rd-34th weekend. It was all set until Friday when half the crew abandoned. First guy dropped off claiming his boss wold allow a leave, the other got cought driving drunk so had to appear in court the next day, and one more just got sick in a matter of 3 minutes. Now to find a replacement Replace meant 2 guys ready with some cash, bag packed to stay away for 2 days in 6 hrs notice. We still called people. But then we had to CANCEL the plan ! The Leg Shake So it was just me and Subburam. So I rang him ...

Well there was no doubt as to what is the best way I could spend a long weekend of 4 days  in India. Goa. Having set the budget right, a car ready serviced, 15hrs drive across B'lore to Goa from Chennai was the only thing I thought of at least for the week before the trip. "It was not about the destination, neither was it about the journey, I was more like can I make it or not, I needed no better reason as there was only one way to find it out." The night before the trip I had rushed out of my house because I had realized that I dint have any stickers on my car, important indeed, hence stuck a "Why so serious?" with splash of joker on it. Well the next day bags packed, set to office waiting for 7 to come. 7 is when we leave. 9 was when we left. Nightlong drive pretty much lame. With the dawn the drive became what we were looking for, wind, mountains, green things that you dont see in cities and yeah empty roads, 6 lanes. Lunch was when we breath the air ...

I went on a Europe trip(with Family) just got back, to realized I had UNLOCKED 5 ACHIEVEMENTS 1) Went to Austria and dint smoke. 2) Went to Germany and dint drink beer. 3) Went to Italy and ate punjabi food. 4) Went to Paris, dint even sniff wine. 5) Stayed a week in Europe SOBER. Well it was a fabulous 9 nights-8 days trip for only INR 99,500 (Yup it was a steal for such a low price, I really recommend them and have given the contacts of travel company at the end  ), well a very good amount of credit goes to our Guide Monti Grewal [If you had done great International tours, there is a good chance you could have met him] and the coach driver Bobby [Seriously he should be on extreme driver shows they put in AXN, he would rock the show]. I was so proudly debating with an elderly friend of mine that "Piracy exist because there are people in Internet who want people to have things for free, and we are just victims of this Offer. Diwali suxxx yeah lets get over it, we all know diwali just suxxxx its a stupid day admit stupid time of the year where we do stupid things namely: 1) Burst crackers, fireworks pollute the sky, sometime fire works on us, and then wake up with a burning eye due to excess smoke in the air. 2) Eat sweets like pig and end up in new unhealthy situations, every year and then take resolutions that dont even help. 3) Buy things we dont even need, at prices we dont really afford, on discount that are so fake. 4) Pray in a language(sanskrith) we hardly understand. 5) Well now the movie makers actually make us believe that we badly need to WATCH A MOVIE ON DIWALI, if not at least go to the theater and see the poster. 6) All the TV channels compete for TRP putting exclusive shows to make sure that no one watches TV. 7) We walk into a flooded Textile/Clothing shop to pick one random dress just for the sake of it and wait 2 hrs for the bill. 8) From this year onw...

Now that my interns are over and my college breaks open for 3rd semester the second year of MBA. Apart form the regular college is boring, hostel sucks, i hate college food etc etc regular MBA punchnama i have some hot opening story... The first day of my course i woke up late and missed the very first session, now that is not something so cool a thing as i am answerable the next day. So i thought il say i had some medicine and couldent wake up early or some crap like that and this is what happened PROF : Swamynathan ! You dint come to my morning class yesterday ? ME : sir last night i was ill ! i had heavy dose of medicine late night so couldent get up early. PROF : oh ! royal stag ? AND what I was studying was playing around the dream :O :O :O The same happened quite a few more times, that's when i found to my surprise i had super powers "i could built and go into a dream world just by reading books". Then i started reading newspapers, magz to pull more of current things into my dream and there i became a strong dream technician. Then if i wanted to study something, all i had to do was start reading the book goto my dream, search for my dream-bookshelf and keep a book of that subject,and before some character out of no where, with no introduction comes and snatches it away. After i make sure its safe i quickly run from it, swing in the air, jump down and tadaa...

I turned on my laptop. Even before the desktop loaded, I clicked on the browser icon, I couldn't wait till i could click on the Facebook.com short cut on the user tab, it turned on with my password saved; I hit enter fast, like a chat ninja. There was I. In front of a huge number of notifications, which slowly i opened one by one. I liked a few random pics even if I thought it were stupid, then a few status messages which I dint even read fully, then a few app request without wondering "Why would some one even like a app request?" and then drop a few comments hopefully, hopeless. Then like my own comments even if it had just a little essence of humor, then randomly read a few other comments, and like the rest. It was too early a morning, one among the rare days when i get to see a 5 am, took a shower, had to brush while in shower as i was already late .......;) ....... .......rushed to CMBT where we all, a group of 16 from my college and 4 more from the ECOLOGIN, the trek organizers assembled, where we came to realize that MTC bus was waiting for us :O :O. As soon as we jumped in, we started our grand endeavor with bananas :P :P YUP in the bus early morning, followed by few more snacks, juice etc etc etc.....we got down at VELLORE where we had breakfast(i mentioned this to make sure that dont mistake the bus munchies for breakfast, we actually eat a lot). Then we got on a bus to some place then from that some place we got on a share auto to another some place, from where we started our trek. Well before i get into the details of the trek there is something i would love to mention, well................... few first timers got a huge suitcase along filled with all everything perhaps a beaut...

For those whom i havent informed yet, yes im doing an MBA now(yup u can beat my ass up later for not telling ul :P). Might sound weird but im in hostel in my hometown(but then im loving it), and things are good. MBA in a simple words would be getting back the human nature, cus we're turned into animals in under graduation and this is the wake up call. The MBA subjects are different, unheard of before, taxing and of course vast and they literally change a person(well from the above para u can see that i lost the sense of humor). We had an internal exam and lets see how things turn up! Statistics: Nice subject, clean theory all you need to do is just write formulas and substitute values and u get the answer, sounded so exciting, but then we have more than 300 formulas.
